Djesse Vol. 4

Today marks the release of Jacob Collier’s long-anticipated (for me, at least) final album of his Djesse series. A six-year journey that started in 2018, each album represents a different part of the day, and I have to credit Jacob for seamlessly connecting these projects over such a long time.

He covers almost every genre you can think of throughout all four albums with a superstar cast of musicians. There are musical earworms and unexpected harmonic twists & turns, but you can tell it has Jacob’s touch.
